Prime Minister Hon. Jeremiah Manele officially launched the Solomon Islands National Infrastructure Investment Plan (SINIIP) 2026 Dossier on 9 March 2026 in Honiara, setting out the country’s priority infrastructure pipeline for the coming years.
The dossier brings together more than SBD 19 billion in proposed infrastructure investments submitted by government ministries, provincial governments, state‑owned enterprises, and other stakeholders. It consolidates these proposals into a single national framework to guide planning, prioritization, and implementation.
At the launch, the Prime Minister said the updated plan will help ensure that infrastructure projects are well‑designed, properly prioritized, and effectively delivered to achieve inclusive and sustainable development outcomes. He emphasized that strong partnerships between Government, development partners, the private sector, and communities will be critical to the successful rollout of the SINIIP.
