Pacific Islands Standards Committee

The PISC is a regional standards development body that has been established through the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) with a focus on supporting Pacific partners to participate in standards development, facilitate cross-regional trade and build regional stability. The PISC launched its first technical standards committees (TCs) in construction and food in 2023, and those committees are working towards developing Pacific regional standards.

The PISC meeting will bring together representatives of participating Pacific Island Countries for discussions on the progress of the TCs, as well as discussions on priorities for 2025/26 and information sessions on initiatives that are relevant to the work of the PISC.
