The RMI NIIP 2023 Update aligns with the government's policy objectives and priorities outlined in the National Strategic Plan (NSP 2020–2030), National Adaptation Plan, sector plans, public asset performance data, and the needs of local communities.
The NIIP 2023 database comprises 155 projects, valued at US$1.17 billion, with 45 projects—approximately 35% of the total—already funded and either in progress or scheduled to commence. Among all NIIP 2023 projects, the largest investments by value were in energy, education, aviation, and water and sanitation.
