PRIF supported the Pacific Community develop a new Pacific Regional Energy Framework 2021-2030 which was endorsed by the Pacific Island Forum Leaders in 2021. The Framework strengthens links to the existing and future Pacific country energy sector development plans and policies. The framework considers the impact of COVID-19 on energy demand and energy utility health, and the need for greater energy resilience to future shocks, among other important regional energy issues.
